Historic Bethel German Colony will hold its annual Christmas in Bethel Festival on Sunday, December 5, 2010.  This warm-hearted toast to German Christmas traditions is fun for children and adults alike.  Admission is free. 

10:00am - 4:30pm     Shop at colony shops and mini mall located in Bethel Food Pantry

11:00am - 2:00pm     Traditional smorgasbord served at Fest Hall

12:00pm                  Children sing at Bandstand

1:00pm                    Jolly Old Saint Nick arrives

1:30pm                    Traditional German Black Santa arrives

2:00pm                    Bethel German Band performs at Christian Church

3:00pm                     Living Christmas Tree at Christian Church

5:00pm                     Traditional Vesper Service at Methodist Church

6:00pm                     Official Lighting of Bethel

7:00pm                     Children's Christmas Program at Christian Church

Two contests are open to everyone:

Best Homemade Candy - leave at Fest Hall by noon on Saturday

Prizes awarded

Decorated Christmas Card - leave at Fest Hall by noon on Saturday

Prizes awarded for cards in three age categories, Pre-K, K -6, 7 - adult for cards.
